PICC is a private collaborative workplace based on the principle of “crowdsourcing”. It’s a concept that aims to capitalize on all the knowledge available within an organization, in order to solve complex problems.
“Seekers” (employees looking for a solution) submit a problem. The “solvers” (employees offering ideas for posted problems) propose solutions. If the Solver’s solution is retained, a reward is given.
This collaborative workplace works using the TRIZ methodology, on the basis of the concept of “contradiction”. The seeker expresses his problem as a set of contradictions needing to be solved. Solvers will propose inventive solutions to address these contradictions. Any problem that does not present contradictions will automatically be set aside, thus ensuring that the company’s resources are dedicated to adding value, through the generation of inventions and not just ideas.
