Last March 2nd, Exelop paid a visit to the INSA in Toulouse. Five teachers of the school will open courses on the TRIZ systematic innovation methodology.
Thanks to TRIZ theory, innovation can be achieved systematically, for any problem, however complex – innovation is obtained with a precise methodology that builds on your capital of internal and external experiences.
This day was full of learning with the practical implementation of different cases giving teachers proper integration to best transmit the principles of innovation to future students.
As of June, future engineers will inaugurate the Innovation sessions in their curricula. See you next year to find the students, their professors and the continuation of their project.
The countdown has begun!
Only few days left before the launch of PICC software.
Private Innovation Competence Center is the collaborative work platform developed by Exelop. Based on crowdsourcing, PICC aims to capitalize on all the knowledge available within the company to resolve intricate problems and approach innovation in a systematic way.
PICC also helps:
- To Capitalize on Know-How
- In decision making & strategy
- In Technology Forecasting
- In Predictive Maintenance
- To manage connected objects
- In international collaborative projects
- In Patent Encapsulation
In June, you too will be able to discover how make innovation systematic. The list of interested parties continues to grow, with international groups in the fields of aeronautics, pharmaceuticals, industry, etc… including L’Oréal who adopted this new approach. N’hésitez donc pas à prendre contact avec l’équipe d’Exelop pour toute demande de renseignements.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Exelop team for any additional information.
The 2016 CFIB edition brought together several scientific documentalists from major groups, including a few L’Oréal representatives. On this occasion, Exelop was able to present its PICC solution, using as an example a practical application on a project led by Procter & Gamble.
Alongside our partners HES-SO and INSA Strasbourg, at the headquarters of the group, we presented this tool which allows systematized innovation while harnessing information from patents and other scientific literature.
Our hosts were thus able to measure the potential of PICC, particularly during the implementation of an innovation steering process. At the end of this meeting, a project tailored to the cosmetics giant was validated by the hierarchy.
L’Oréal and Exelop have therefore agreed on the exploitation of PICC and the training of their employees.
We are looking forward to this new collaboration that will emerge in 2017.
On 23rd and 24th of September, EXELOP will give a MBA module course about systematic Innovation « TRIZ & Lean Thinking » at EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Federal Lausanne).TRIZ & LEAN THINKING is about considering innovation as a process with clear measurable deliverables. Thus avoiding drawbacks of most invention methods used up to now.
Students from 36 major corporations will be with us during 2 days. Successful clients case studies from SOCOMEC and PROCTER & GAMBLE will be presented. We are proud to be part of the Innovation expertise in Switzerland !

TRIZ Future Conference 2015 : « How to enter a protected market with patent bypassing ? »
A special event has been set up during the 2015 edition of Triz Future Conference in Berlin by Exelop and Tom Spike.
Tom Spike is an expert of innovation based in Berlin. They help industries and international corporation create innovations more quickly and easily. Workshops and Choaching are methods that Tom Spike often use with their clients.
This special event focused on innovation and took place in Otto Bock’s office on October 28th 2015. Three speeches have been presented : “Identifying the Biggest Potentials in Complex Technology” by Denis Cavallucci, “How to enter a protected market with patent bypassing?” by Constant Ondo and “How cost pressure drives innovation” by a member of Bombardier Canada.
Among the participants, we could count on the participation of the chief expert of the office of benchmark at Bosch, a specialist of electrical systems and the subsystem platforms implementation director at Bombardier, a senior expert at Schaeffler, the senior head of quality at MDD, an high voltage electricity expert at General Electric and the project leader of Berlin Partner.
